Barcelona thrash Betis ahead of El Clasico

Hans-Dieter Flick's side delivered a clinical performance in their away trip to Seville, securing a commanding 5-2 victory over Betis. The result serves as a significant confidence boost for the Blaugrana as they head into a busy week of high-profile fixtures, including the upcoming El Clasico.

Lamine Yamal opened the scoring for the visitors in the 10th minute. Despite Vitor Gomes leveling the match in the 27th minute, Barcelona regained control with a goal from Rodri before the break. In the second half, the game tilted decisively in favor of the visitors, with Jesus and Eric Garcia extending the lead before Dani Olmo added the final goal in the 81st minute.

The task became insurmountable for Betis following the 56th-minute dismissal of Facundo Bernal for unsportsmanlike conduct. While Abde Ezzalzouli found the net for the hosts, they were unable to contain the attacking intensity displayed by the Barcelona squad.
