Barcelona considering move for David Alaba

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick is very familiar with Alaba's capabilities, having previously worked with him during their time at Bayern Munich. The Catalan club values his tactical versatility, as he can operate effectively both as a central defender and as a left-back.

Despite this interest, Barcelona is reportedly not the frontrunner for his signature. It is understood that a move to Italy appears more likely, with both Roma and Lazio expressing interest in the veteran defender.

Alaba played for Real Madrid from 2021 to 2026, making 132 appearances and scoring five goals. He became a free agent after parting ways with the Madrid club last summer.
