Arsenal not planning to let Zubimendi leave in January

Arsenal has no plans to allow Martin Zubimendi to leave the club during the upcoming winter transfer window. According to reports from Football Insider, the London side is keen to keep the 27-year-old midfielder in the squad at least until the end of the season.
The Spaniard's playing time has been limited so far this campaign. He has started most matches on the bench, with his only appearance in the starting XI coming in the League Cup. In that match against Ipswich, the player was even deployed as a right-back.
Despite the lack of minutes, head coach Mikel Arteta is interested in maintaining the integrity of the current squad. The club does not want to weaken the team in the middle of the season as they continue to compete across several fronts.
