Tariq Muharemovic has established himself as a vital defensive pillar for Leeds United since his summer arrival. Following a strong start, the 23-year-old Bosnian has attracted attention from European heavyweights including Barcelona and Inter Milan.
Despite reports of interest from abroad, Leeds leadership has no intention of letting the defender go during the January window. The club is fully committed to retaining the player at least until the end of the current campaign.
Muharemovic is tied to a long-term deal running until the summer of 2031, providing the club with financial security and no pressure to cash in on his services. Leeds signed the defender from Sassuolo for approximately £34 million, positioning him as a cornerstone of Daniel Farke's setup.
While Barcelona and Inter are expected to continue monitoring the player's progress, Leeds' stance remains firm: Muharemovic is not for sale. The competition for the defender is likely to intensify only after the season concludes, depending on his development on the pitch.
