Abha seals agreement with World Cup-winning star Nabil Fekir
Newly promoted Saudi Pro League side Abha has reached a final agreement to sign former Real Betis and Al-Jazira midfielder Nabil Fekir on a free transfer.

Saudi Pro League newcomers Abha have made a major statement of intent ahead of the new season by securing a deal for French international Nabil Fekir. The 2018 World Cup winner is set to bring a wealth of experience to the newly promoted side.
According to reports, Abha’s management has reached a final agreement with the 33-year-old. Fekir will join the club on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with UAE outfit Al-Jazira. The deal is structured as a one-season contract with an option to extend for an additional year.
Fekir's arrival provides a significant boost to Abha’s attacking options. The playmaker, who previously starred for Olympique Lyonnais and spent five successful years at Real Betis, demonstrated his quality last season by recording 10 goals and 4 assists in 25 appearances for Al-Jazira.
By securing a player of his pedigree, Abha is signaling that they do not intend to be mere participants in the top flight. The club is clearly aiming to integrate high-profile talent to help them compete effectively in the Roshn League immediately following their promotion.
