Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Tolu Arokodare forced the cancellation of a training session after refusing to leave the pitch. The 25-year-old reportedly sat down on the grass, demanding that the club sanction a move to Serie A side Fiorentina.

Wolves have rejected a bid from the Italian club, having previously accepted an offer from Turkish side Trabzonspor. Arokodare's refusal to cooperate led new manager Cesar Peixoto to terminate Monday's session early.

This incident is the latest flashpoint in the forward's time at Molineux, following disciplinary issues in April involving a confrontation with teammate Mateus Mane. Arokodare joined for £24m last summer but struggled significantly, scoring only three league goals as the team suffered relegation from the Premier League.

The situation presents an immediate challenge for Peixoto, who took charge just last month. Arokodare will not be involved in Wednesday's friendly match against Maidenhead United as the club continues its pre-season preparations under the new leadership.
