Strasbourg to sign Ibrahima Ba for 20 million euros

French side Strasbourg has reached an agreement with Portuguese club Famalicao for the transfer of central defender Ibrahima Ba. According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal is valued at 20 million euros, including bonuses.
Following a successful medical examination, the 20-year-old will sign a long-term contract with his new club and is expected to join the squad for pre-season training shortly.
Strasbourg views Ba as one of the most promising talents in his position and expects him to become a cornerstone of their defense for the coming years.
During the previous season, Ba made 24 appearances in the Portuguese league, contributing one goal and one assist. Despite his young age, his reliable defensive performances drew interest from several European clubs, but Strasbourg ultimately won the race for his signature.
