Stephan El Shaarawy close to joining Genoa

Italian forward Stephan El Shaarawy could be set for a move to Genoa. According to reports from insider Nicolò Schira, the 33-year-old is nearing an agreement to join the club as a free agent.
Negotiations are currently underway regarding the terms of a deal that could keep the player at the club until the summer of 2028. El Shaarawy has been without a team since his contract with Roma expired last summer.
During the previous Serie A campaign, he made 20 appearances for the Giallorossi, contributing one goal and two assists. This potential move follows Genoa's recent acquisition of Montenegrin striker Milutin Osmajic as they look to bolster their attacking options.
