Chelsea striker Shumaira Mheuka is on the verge of signing a new long-term contract with the London club, according to journalist Bobby Vincent.
The club rates the 18-year-old highly, viewing him as one of the most promising talents in their academy. Last season, the forward impressed by recording 24 goals and 3 assists in 25 appearances for the youth team. He also made his Premier League debut during the previous campaign in a match against Tottenham.
Following the extension, Chelsea reportedly plan to send the teenager on loan for the 2026/27 season. This move is intended to provide him with consistent senior football and support his ongoing development.
