São Paulo loans out Paulinho to União Torreense with purchase option
São Paulo forward Paulinho has joined Portuguese side União Torreense on loan until July 2027, with a fixed purchase option included.
Forward São Paulo's Paulinho will continue his development in Europe. The player has completed a loan move to Portuguese side União Torreense, with the deal set to run until July 2027.
The agreement includes a fixed purchase option of 1.1 million euros, which would allow the Portuguese club to acquire 100% of the player's rights after the loan period expires.
The 20-year-old was previously linked to a domestic transfer, but the situation shifted in the final stages. Paulinho is already in Portugal and has begun training with his new teammates.
For the Brazilian club, the move is designed to provide the academy graduate with consistent playing time. Paulinho made his professional debut last November but had recently been training away from the main squad.
