Ruslan Kostyshyn explains Kolos' victory over Shakhtar

Kolos head coach Ruslan Kostyshyn has shared his impressions of the 30th round UPL match, in which his side secured a 1-0 victory over Shakhtar.

The coach admitted that the start of the game was difficult due to an experimental lineup, particularly in the defensive line. However, the team managed to shift the pressure away from their goal by mid-first half thanks to increased activity in the midfield block.

It was difficult at the beginning. This can be explained by the fact that Kolos played with an experimental squad, primarily due to rotation in the defensive line. However, in the middle of the first half, we managed to move the game away from our goal thanks to activity in the middle block, which made it harder for the Donetsk side to control the ball. Kostyshyn dismissed suggestions that the opponent lacked motivation, insisting instead that his players executed the pre-match instructions perfectly. They maintained intensity and effectively utilized the width of the pitch.
