Rotan praises Livyi Bereh defense after Polissya victory

Polissya head coach Ruslan Rotan assessed his team's 1-0 victory over Livyi Bereh in the latest round of the Ukrainian Premier League. While satisfied with the result, the manager emphasized the tactical challenge posed by the opposition.

Rotan was quick to credit the defensive work of the opponents.

The coach also addressed the performance of midfielder Emerlah, noting that while the player possesses clear technical ability, he needs to make better decisions in front of goal. Rotan acknowledged that had they extended their lead to 2-0, the closing stages of the match would have been significantly less stressful.

Reflecting on the nature of the competition, Rotan drew a comparison to the English Premier League. He suggested that the fighting spirit displayed in the Ukrainian league is at the highest level, even if overall technical execution still has room for growth.
