AS Roma have officially announced the signing of forward Santiago Tomàs Castro from Bologna FC. The deal has been completed on a permanent transfer basis.
The 19-year-old striker, born in 2004, has committed his future to the club by signing a contract that runs until 2031. Upon his arrival in the Italian capital, the attacker has chosen the number 9 shirt.
Prior to his move to Serie A, Castro played for Vélez Sarsfield in Argentina. During his time with Bologna, the forward recorded 105 appearances and scored 22 goals.
