Robert Dante Siboldi criticizes Tigres management again

Former Tigres manager Robert Dante Siboldi has opened up once again about his sudden departure in the summer of 2024, just before the pre-season for the Apertura tournament. In a recent interview, the Uruguayan coach stated that it is difficult to say anything good about the club's board due to their management style.

Siboldi argues that the board invented a narrative to discredit his coaching staff, aiming to avoid backlash from the fans and provide a pretext for their decision. He also addressed the recent departure of Guido Pizarro, suggesting that the Argentine sensed a lack of support and realized that those making sporting decisions lacked the necessary capacity.

At the time of his dismissal, the club issued a brief statement thanking the staff for their commitment. During his tenure, Siboldi led the team through 67 matches with 31 wins, 23 draws, and 13 losses, notably winning the Clausura 2023 title shortly after taking the job.
