Reiss Nelson has officially parted ways with Arsenal after reaching an agreement to terminate his contract prematurely. According to journalist David Ornstein, while the player had a year remaining on his deal with an option for an additional season, both parties decided that ending the collaboration now was the optimal solution.

Nelson is a product of the legendary Hale End academy and spent a total of 18 years within the club's structure. He made 90 appearances for the first team, scoring eight goals and providing nine assists. During his time at the club, he won the FA Cup in 2020 and secured the FA Community Shield twice.

Throughout his career, the winger spent time on loan at Hoffenheim, Feyenoord, Fulham, and Brentford. His final two seasons were hindered by persistent injury issues, limiting him to just 26 appearances across those loan spells.
