Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has announced that the club is preparing a transfer bid of at least €150 million. While the president has not confirmed the target, speculation has intensified regarding Bayern Munich forward Michael Olise.
Bayern's sporting director, Max Eberl, has dismissed the possibility of a departure. Speaking to 11Freunde, Eberl emphasized that the club is committed to its long-term project and that Olise, who is under contract until 2029, is very happy in Munich. He also confirmed that there is no release clause in the player's current deal.
In Michael Olise, we've signed a professional who has a contract with us until 2029 – with no release clause – and is on his way to becoming one of the world's best players. Max Eberl
Since joining from Crystal Palace last summer for €53 million, Olise has been an immediate success. He has recorded 53 goal contributions in 52 appearances across all competitions. Despite Pérez's ambitious public declarations, Bayern Munich maintain that they are not looking to part ways with their standout performer in the upcoming window.
