Bayern Munich preparing bumper new deal for Michael Olise
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed that Bayern Munich are set to open contract extension talks with Michael Olise following his sensational start to the season.

A spectacular start to the campaign has seen Michael Olise cement his status as a key asset for Bayern Munich. The 24-year-old French attacking midfielder has been in blistering form, prompting the Bavarian hierarchy to initiate plans for a contract extension.
Supervisory board member Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has openly addressed the club's strategy regarding the player. Speaking to AZ, the former executive praised the midfielder's immense contribution:
"Olise is under contract until 2029. At some point, the club will have to sit down with him and present a suitable offer. He is exceptional in his position." Karl-Heinz Rummenigge
The urgency behind these discussions is driven by Olise’s remarkable attacking output, recording eight goals and four assists in just seven matches this term. Since his arrival from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024, he has become indispensable to the team's setup.
