German side RB Leipzig is preparing for changes in goal ahead of the new season. With the club set to release experienced goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi to Spanish side Villarreal, the management is actively searching for a replacement.
The primary candidate for the role is 35-year-old Norway international Orjan Nyland. The goalkeeper is currently a free agent, as his contract with Sevilla expired during the 2026 World Cup.
Reports indicate that both parties are eager to finalize the deal, with only minor legal details remaining to be settled. Last season, Nyland made seven appearances, recording one clean sheet.
