London club Fulham has officially confirmed the departure of 35-year-old striker Raul Jimenez following the expiration of his contract at Craven Cottage. The veteran forward is now a free agent.
According to reports, Wolves have dispatched a delegation to Mexico in a determined bid to bring their former star back to Molineux. Despite interest from other Premier League sides and Club America, Jimenez is now in advanced discussions regarding a return to the West Midlands.
Head coach Rob Edwards is eager for Jimenez to provide top-tier leadership to the squad, working alongside recent signing Kieran Trippier. Edwards views these experienced figures as vital for building a promotion-contending team.
Jimenez previously spent five years at Molineux, where he became a club legend with 57 goals in 166 appearances. His record of 40 top-flight goals remains the highest for Wolves in the Premier League era, making a potential reunion a highly anticipated prospect.
