Polissya Zhytomyr has officially secured the bronze medals of the Ukrainian championship following a victory over Rukh Lviv. The match concluded with a 2-0 scoreline in favor of the hosts.
Oleksandr Filippov opened the scoring in the 27th minute, and Eduard Sarapiy doubled the lead in the 82nd minute to seal the win. This result ensured Polissya's finish in the top three of the UPL standings.
The team coached by Ruslan Rotan had been contending for a higher position throughout the season, with their final standing also depending on the performance of LNZ.
