Panama head coach Thomas Christiansen has officially announced the national team squad for the 2026 World Cup. The team is set to compete in the tournament hosted jointly by the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
The roster includes players representing various leagues, including clubs across Europe, North America, and South America. The goalkeepers named are Luis Mejia, Orlando Mosquera, and Cesar Samudio. The defensive line features Eric Davis, Fidel Escobar, Michael Amir Murillo, Roderick Miller, Andres Andrade, Cesar Blackman, Jose Cordoba, Jiovany Ramos, Jorge Gutierrez, and Edgardo Farina.
The midfield unit includes Anibal Godoy, Alberto Quintero, Yoel Barcenas, Adalberto Carrasquilla, Jose Luis Rodriguez, Cristian Martinez, Cesar Yanis, Carlos Harvey, and Azarias Londono. The attacking options for Panama consist of Jose Fajardo, Ismael Diaz, Cecilio Waterman, and Thomas Rodriguez.
In the tournament, the Panama national team has been drawn into Group L. Their group stage opponents will be Ghana, Croatia, and England.
