Oleg Dulub names Epitsentr as UPL breakthrough team of the season

Renowned coach Oleg Dulub has shared his thoughts on the 2025/2026 Ukrainian Premier League season, identifying Epitsentr as the league's primary breakthrough side.

Dulub highlighted the difficult start for the club from Kamianets-Podilskyi, noting that rumors of manager Serhiy Nahornyak's potential dismissal were circulating early on. However, the club managed to turn their fortunes around significantly.

According to the expert, strategic recruitment allowed the team to secure their place in the top flight without needing to participate in the relegation play-offs. A standout moment of their recovery was the victory over Polissya (3:2), a result that, according to Dulub, ultimately cost the Zhytomyr side the silver medals.
