Shakhtar Donetsk has officially confirmed the venue for its home matches in the Champions League league phase. The "Miners" will host their opponents at Chelsea's home ground, Stamford Bridge, in London.
The club has been unable to host matches at the Donbas Arena since 2014 due to the ongoing Russian occupation of Donetsk. Since then, the team has played its European home games in various cities, including Kyiv, Lviv, and stadiums in Germany, Slovenia, and Poland. Last season, the team played its home European fixtures in Krakow.
Stamford Bridge, which holds over 40,000 spectators, is known for its compact design and historical atmosphere. The proximity of the stands to the pitch creates an intense, intimate experience for fans compared to larger, more spacious stadiums.

Chelsea also commented on the agreement, stating that they look forward to welcoming the Ukrainian club to London. The English side confirmed they will work closely with Shakhtar in the coming weeks to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for both the team and the fans.
