Leeds United winger Noah Okafor has announced via social media that he is suspending his international career with the Switzerland national team. The player clarified that this decision is effective immediately and is not related to his lack of playing time.

Okafor cited a breakdown in trust with head coach Murat Yakin during the recent World Cup as the primary reason for his decision. The winger explained that despite a positive meeting with the coaching staff in England prior to the tournament, his experience during the event was deeply disappointing.
