Newcastle close to signing Amar Dedic from Benfica

Newcastle United is nearing the signing of Benfica right-back Amar Dedic. According to Fabrizio Romano, the clubs are preparing for a final round of negotiations to seal the transfer.
Personal terms between the club and the 23-year-old Bosnian defender have already been agreed upon, leaving only the final agreement with the Portuguese side to be settled. The transfer is expected to be finalized in the near future.
The player's ability to operate on both flanks of the defense makes him a valuable asset for Newcastle's squad. Once the deal for Dedic is completed, the English club intends to focus its transfer market efforts on strengthening their central midfield.
