On October 24 at 19:00 Kyiv time, NAVI and G2 will clash in the opening round of the PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 Swiss stage. The match will be played in a best-of-three (BO3) format.
This season has proven challenging for the Ukrainian organization, which currently sits at 11th in the HLTV world rankings—their lowest position in three years. Following their IEM Atlanta 2026 victory in May, the team has struggled with consistency, finishing 9th–11th at both IEM Cologne Major and ESL Pro League Season 24. Sniper Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov has been their standout performer recently with a 1.14 rating.
The European mix G2 arrives at the tournament ranked 8th in the HLTV world rankings. Thanks to consistent performances throughout the year, the team has nearly secured a spot at the upcoming PGL Major Singapore 2026. Despite a lackluster finish at the latest ESL Pro League, the roster featuring Artem "r1nkle" Moroz showed promise with a silver medal at FISSURE Playground 3. Guy "NertZ" Iluz leads the team with a 1.16 rating over the past three months.
The head-to-head history is perfectly balanced, with each team claiming two match wins and six map wins across 12 encounters. In their most recent clash at ESL Pro League Season 24, NAVI secured a decisive 2-0 victory, dominating both Inferno and Cache.
