Real Madrid head coach Jose Mourinho has devised a new tactical role for Brazilian forward Endrick. According to reports from Diario AS, the Portuguese manager prefers to utilize the 20-year-old on the right wing rather than as a traditional central striker.
This tactical adjustment is reportedly the primary reason Mourinho approved the signing of forward Carlos Espi during the summer transfer window. The move suggests a strategic shift in how the manager intends to utilize his attacking options this season.
During the 2026/27 campaign, Endrick has made only two appearances for the Spanish giants across all competitions, contributing one goal and one assist. While there were previous rumors suggesting the player could head out on loan to AC Milan or a Premier League side, the focus has now shifted to his development within Mourinho's current tactical setup.
