RB Leipzig have begun proactive work in the transfer market as they brace for the expected exit of Ivorian star Yan Diomande to Real Madrid. The Bundesliga side has now identified a key target to bolster their attacking options.

According to Foot Mercato, Moroccan winger Chemsdine Talbi has emerged as a top candidate for the German club. Leipzig officials reportedly hold the 21-year-old, who currently plays for Sunderland, in high regard.

Talbi is valued for his pace, ability to penetrate defensive lines, and tactical flexibility, attributes that would provide RB Leipzig with much-needed depth. The youngster featured in 30 matches for the English side last season, contributing 4 goals.

While Talbi is under contract with Sunderland until the summer of 2030, formal discussions between the two clubs have yet to take place.
