AC Milan midfielder Comotto has emerged as a target for Serie A clubs ahead of the January transfer window. Both Parma and Monza have reportedly approached the Rossoneri to inquire about a loan deal for the 16-year-old, who has impressed with his versatility as a box-to-box midfielder.
Parma, having previously worked with agent Beppe Riso on the deal for Simone Lontani, are pushing for an initial loan with an option to buy. Monza, under the leadership of Ivan Juric, are also reportedly open to bringing the 2008-born talent into their squad for the remainder of the season.
However, manager Ruben Amorim and owner Gerry Cardinale are currently reluctant to sanction a departure. Despite the immense competition in midfield from established stars like Luka Modric and Adrien Rabiot, the club remains committed to integrating the youngster into the first-team environment.
Amorim is currently working on a plan to involve Comotto during a demanding October schedule, which features seven matches in just 20 days. The club’s long-term view is that training alongside elite champions is beneficial, though they acknowledge that the player's development will ultimately depend on securing regular minutes on the pitch before the winter window closes.
