AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan is considering an exit from the Italian club this summer. Reports indicate that the 30-year-old has decided to seek a new challenge following major personnel changes within the club's management and coaching staff.
The France international was reportedly unhappy with the departures of head coach Massimiliano Allegri and sporting director Igli Tare. These organizational shifts have prompted the goalkeeper to instruct his representatives to explore potential moves.
Chelsea has emerged as a primary contender to secure Maignan's services, with reports suggesting that negotiations could intensify following the conclusion of the World Cup. Maignan is under contract with the Italian giants until 2031, with a market value estimated at 20 million euros.
Since joining Milan in 2021, Maignan has been a key figure. During the 2025/26 season, he made 41 appearances across all competitions, conceding 38 goals and keeping 16 clean sheets.
