Former Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood has emerged as a key transfer target for the two rivals competing for the Fenerbahce presidency.

Marseille's new sporting director, Gregory Lorenzi, recently indicated that the French club is open to listening to offers for the 24-year-old. Greenwood, who joined Marseille in July 2024, still has three years left on his contract. It is expected that personal terms would not be a significant hurdle for any potential move.
For Fenerbahce, who finished as league runners-up for the fifth consecutive season, strengthening the attack is a priority ahead of their entry into the Champions League second qualifying round. Meanwhile, reports have also linked the forward with a possible move to Serie A side Roma.
The player's career has been in a rebuilding phase since his departure from Old Trafford following an internal investigation. During his time at Marseille, the forward has been productive, scoring 48 goals in 81 appearances and finishing joint second in the Ligue 1 golden boot standings this season.
