Following PSG's 2-1 victory over Aston Villa in the UEFA Super Cup, captain Marquinhos has reached a significant milestone. For the 32-year-old central defender, this title marked the 43rd of his professional career.
This achievement sees the Brazilian move into second place in the all-time ranking of most decorated players, surpassing Dani Alves, who holds 42 trophies. The list is currently led by Lionel Messi, who remains at the top with 46 titles.
Beyond the historic individual milestone, this victory represents the 40th trophy Marquinhos has won with the French club, setting a new record for the team.
