Manchester City sign England goalkeeper Anna Moorhouse on loan

Manchester City have secured the signing of England international goalkeeper Anna Moorhouse on a short-term loan deal from Orlando Pride. The 31-year-old will remain with the Women's Super League champions until January, subject to international clearance.

Moorhouse has enjoyed a successful spell in the United States since joining the NWSL side from French club Bordeaux in January 2022. During 2024, she played a key role in helping Orlando Pride secure both the NWSL Shield and the NWSL Championship title.

The Oldham-born goalkeeper, who counts Arsenal and West Ham among her former clubs, earned her first England call-up in 2024. She was also part of the Lionesses squad that triumphed at Euro 2025.
