Negotiations for the potential transfer of Egypt captain and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah to Besiktas have reached a significant turning point. Reports from the Turkish press suggest a decisive development in talks between the club and the player's representatives.
The deal had previously stalled due to financial disagreements, specifically regarding a 7.5 million euro commission fee demanded by Salah's agent, Ramy Abbas. However, according to journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, a breakthrough has been achieved.
Abbas has reportedly softened his stance, bringing the commission figure much closer to the offer made by Besiktas president Serdal Adalı. This adjustment has suddenly made a final agreement seem within reach as the club pushes to finalize the deal in the coming days.
Besiktas have been working for weeks to make Salah their marquee signing to strengthen their squad for the new season. If confirmed, this move would rank as arguably the most eye-catching transfer in the history of the Turkish league.
