Luka Modrić made an unexpected return to Real Madrid's training complex in Valdebebas this Wednesday. The 41-year-old midfielder took advantage of the international break to reconnect with his former teammates and staff members.
Reports indicate that the Croatian veteran arrived at the facility following his recent national team commitments against Spain. It was a nostalgic visit for the midfielder, who spent 13 highly decorated seasons in the Spanish capital before departing in the summer of 2025.
Currently playing for AC Milan, Modrić remains a respected figure within the Madrid camp. His spontaneous appearance provided an opportunity to catch up with familiar faces at a club where he cemented his legacy as one of its most successful players.
