Liverpool considering permanent transfer for Ronald Araujo

Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola has expressed his desire to secure a permanent transfer for Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo. The Uruguayan, currently on loan at Anfield, has impressed the manager with his performances since his arrival.

According to reports, the loan agreement includes a buyout clause set at 55 million euros. The club's hierarchy is expected to evaluate the possibility of completing the permanent deal during the summer of 2027 based on the player's contributions throughout the season.

Araujo has made five appearances in the current Premier League campaign, picking up one yellow card. Iraola’s side is currently sitting in sixth place in the league table after the first five rounds.
