Lewandowski defends Yamal and identifies Spain's World Cup strength

Turning to the performance of young star Lamine Yamal, Lewandowski defended the youngster against criticism. He explained that Yamal struggled due to an eight-week injury layoff and the physically demanding nature of playing every three days during the tournament.

He concluded that Spain's success was built on a collective team spirit, which allowed them to support Yamal when he was not at his peak, while the teenager simultaneously contributed to the team's ultimate victory.
