Juventus's financial outlook has shifted following a capital increase from Exor, allowing the club to begin mapping out its upcoming transfer windows. However, the club's strategy remains heavily reliant on qualifying for the 2027-28 Champions League. The revenue generated from UEFA competition is essential for both the club's financial health and its competitive prospects under Luciano Spalletti.
For now, available resources are being directed toward January reinforcements and preliminary planning for the summer of 2027. Despite the need for new signings, the club is also working to balance its books, with a major sale required by June 30, 2027.
The club's hierarchy and coaching staff have identified central midfield and the centre-forward position as the two primary areas for investment. While Douglas Luiz has started the season well and Kolo Muani has shown signs of promise, the team requires top-tier additions in these roles to genuinely compete at the highest level.
Midfield recruitment has become an urgent priority due to uncertainty surrounding the recoveries of Manuel Locatelli and Thuram from long-term injuries. Beyond these positions, Juventus is also evaluating options for goalkeeper and full-back reinforcements, while their wide attacking options remain well-stocked.
