Following the defeat against Córdoba, Ceuta head coach José Juan Romero was candid about his team's performance. He acknowledged that the opposition was superior, but pointed out that his own side made it far too easy for them.
«They were better, it is evident. They needed very little to take the lead. They found opportunities that they didn't even need, because they are an extraordinary team. In the end, we made the match very easy for them with two childish actions», — José Juan Romero
Romero also highlighted the fragile mental state of the squad, which is currently going through a challenging phase. He noted that despite creating chances, the team is struggling to find the net, with any setback feeling like an insurmountable hurdle.
«In football, as in life, the situation gets complicated. Everything turns black, everything goes against us. We are in that period, but we must have the ability to get out of this hole», — José Juan Romero
