Italian Super Cup 2026 returns to San Siro
The Italian Super Cup will return to Italy for a single match between Inter and Lazio in December 2026.

Serie A has confirmed significant changes for the 2026 Italian Super Cup. After four years of staging the tournament in Saudi Arabia, the competition is returning to its traditional roots.
The trophy will be contested in a single match between the league champions, Inter Milan, and the domestic Cup winners, Lazio. The game is scheduled for December 22 at the San Siro stadium in Milan.
This marks a return to the classic two-team format after organizers experimented with a four-team structure between 2023 and 2025, which included the Serie A winner, runner-up, Cup winner, and Cup finalist. The upcoming match will be the first time the tournament has been held in Italy since 2021.
