Giorgi Abuachvili returns to Metz on loan for 2026/27 season
FC Metz has confirmed the loan extension of Georgian winger Giorgi Abuachvili from Kolkheti 1913 Poti for a second consecutive season.

FC Metz has officially confirmed the return of Giorgi Abuachvili on loan. The Georgian winger, who is under contract with Kolkheti 1913 Poti, will spend another season with the club.
This marks the second consecutive season that the 23-year-old has joined the French side on loan. Last season, he made 23 appearances and scored 2 goals. The player is now set to experience Ligue 2 following the club's relegation.
Abuachvili expressed his pride in wearing the club's shirt once again. He will be working under a new manager, Luc Holtz, who was appointed at the end of the previous campaign with the primary goal of securing an immediate promotion back to Ligue 1.
