Fulham are currently in talks to sign 28-year-old Romania defender Andrei Ratiu from Rayo Vallecano. The defender is reportedly open to a move to Craven Cottage as the London club looks to finalise their transfer business.
Ratiu, primarily a right-back, is known for his versatility and ability to cover multiple defensive roles. The Romania-born player has built most of his career in Spain, starting in the Villarreal youth system before moving through Huesca to his current stint at Rayo Vallecano, where he made his La Liga debut in 2023.
New head coach Alvaro Arbeloa is eager to strengthen his squad before the transfer window closes on Tuesday night. The club has already been active in the market, bringing in Gonzalo Garcia, Cesar Palacios, and Shea Charles, while making Jonah Kusi-Asare's move permanent. After a competitive start to the season, including a 3-2 loss to Chelsea and a 3-0 Carabao Cup win against AFC Wimbledon, Fulham remain focused on finishing their recruitment.
