France Football announces 2025/26 coach of the year nominees

France Football has officially released the list of five managers competing for the coach of the year award following the 2025/26 season.

The nominees are: Champions League winner Luis Enrique (PSG), Premier League champion Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Europa League winner Unai Emery (Aston Villa), German champion Vincent Kompany (Bayern Munich), and 2026 World Cup winner Luis de la Fuente (Spain national team).

The exclusion of Hansi Flick, who secured back-to-back league titles with Barcelona, has come as a major surprise to many observers.

The ceremony for the Ballon d'Or and other individual awards will take place on October 26 in London.
