The Corinthians squad continues its intense preparation for the return of the official season. On Thursday, July 9, Fernando Diniz's team held another training session at the Dr. Joaquim Grava training center, marking their 14th day of activity during the mid-season break.
The morning session began with strength training in the gym. Afterward, the players moved to the pitch to work on offensive movements, focusing on crosses, aerial duels, and attacking plays around the penalty area.
During the final part of the session, head coach Fernando Diniz led a tactical exercise focusing on defensive organization. The coach actively guided the team and adjusted player positioning in various game scenarios.
This preparation is crucial for the team, which currently sits 10th in the Brazilian league standings and is gearing up for a demanding schedule across the league, the Copa do Brasil, and the Copa Libertadores.
On Sunday, July 12, the team will play a friendly match against Cascavel. Defender Gustavo Henrique and midfielder Zakaria Labyad are considered doubts for the encounter due to fitness concerns.
