Fabrizio Peralta's future at Cruzeiro remains uncertain
Midfielder Fabrizio Peralta is set to end his loan spell at Cerro Porteño, with his future at parent club Cruzeiro currently undecided.
The future of midfielder Fabrizio Peralta at Cruzeiro remains uncertain as his loan spell at Paraguayan side Cerro Porteño nears its conclusion. The loan agreement is set to expire on the 31st of this month.
According to reports, the player has not yet received direction from the Brazilian club regarding his immediate plans. Peralta is under contract with Cruzeiro until mid-2029, and with the Paraguayan club reportedly not expected to exercise a purchase option, his return to Belo Horizonte is the most likely outcome to determine his next steps.
Peralta joined Cruzeiro in 2024, but he has only made 13 appearances for the team. Since signing, he has spent time on loan at both Athletico-PR and Cerro Porteño. Beyond his domestic experience, the midfielder has also played for Flamengo's youth setup and earned a cap for the Paraguay national team in 2024.
