Dynamo Kyiv demands UEFA action against PAOK over Russian flag
The Ukrainian club has formally called on UEFA to impose disciplinary sanctions after PAOK fans displayed a Russian flag during their Europa League match in Lublin.

Dynamo Kyiv has issued a stern official statement regarding an incident that occurred on July 23rd during the second qualifying round of the Europa League against PAOK. During the match in Lublin, Poland, which ended in a 3-2 defeat for the Ukrainian side, a flag of the Russian Federation was unfurled in the visiting supporters' section.
In their appeal, the Kyiv club emphasized that such actions are unacceptable, noting that the Russian tricolor is synonymous with the ongoing war and destruction in Ukraine. Notably, the club stated that even the Greek players themselves attempted to address their own fans during the match, urging them to remove the hostile symbols from the stands.

Dynamo Kyiv has called on European football authorities to demonstrate the same level of principle as they do regarding cases of racism and xenophobia. The club urged UEFA to address the incident firmly and provide a clear assessment of such provocations to prevent their recurrence in the future.
