DNCG imposes wage bill restrictions on Monaco, defers Marseille decision
France's professional football control commission has capped Monaco's wage bill and requested further documentation from Marseille.

The Professional Football Control Commission, operating under the French Professional Football League (LFP), has issued its latest findings regarding club finances for the 2026-2027 season. A key development from the June 23 session is the imposition of wage bill restrictions on AS Monaco.
Under Article 11 of the DNCG regulations, the club is now subject to oversight regarding its payroll expenditure. This measure is part of the regulatory body's mandate to ensure long-term financial stability across French football.
Regarding Olympique de Marseille, the commission has opted to defer its decision. The club remains in a state of pending review while it provides additional supporting documents requested by the DNCG.
The same report confirmed that no specific measures have been taken against OGC Nice, Strasbourg, or AS Nancy Lorraine. Meanwhile, the assessment for Olympique Lyonnais has been delayed due to ongoing ownership changes involving Michele Kang.
