Daniel Levy sells 24.99% stake in Tottenham parent company Enic
Former Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has sold a quarter of his stake in the club's parent company Enic, reducing his holding to 4.89%.
Former Tottenham Hotspur executive chairman Daniel Levy has sold a 24.99% stake in the club's parent company, Enic, to Eight Sports Capital. This transaction leaves Levy with a 4.89% stake in the organization.
Levy stepped down from his role in September 2025 after 24 years at the helm, following a restructuring process initiated by the club's ultimate owners, the Lewis Family Trust.
Eight Sports Capital Ltd is a sports investment firm owned by the American media company Triller. Its chief executive, Brooklyn Earick, previously led a consortium that expressed interest in buying Tottenham last September, an offer that was rejected by the club at the time.
While the financial details of this sale were not disclosed, market valuations for the club have been estimated at just under the £4.25bn paid for Chelsea in 2022, suggesting the 25% stake could be valued close to £1bn.
During his 24-year tenure, Levy was the public face of the club, overseeing the construction of the state-of-the-art stadium and training facilities. Despite these infrastructure successes, his leadership faced criticism due to the club's trophy count, which includes the 2008 EFL Cup and last season's Europa League title.
