Cruzeiro set to loan Lautaro Díaz to Racing
After terminating his loan spell at Santos, forward Lautaro Díaz is set to join Argentine side Racing on a loan deal.

Argentine forward Lautaro Díaz is on the verge of a new chapter in his career. Following the official termination of his loan contract with Santos, the player is expected to travel to Argentina soon to undergo medical examinations and complete a move to Racing.
The player's rights are held by Cruzeiro, who own 70% of his economic rights. The loan deal with the Argentine club is scheduled to run until mid-2027 and includes a purchase option. If Racing chooses to sign him permanently, the transfer fee is reportedly set at approximately 2 million dollars.
The move was requested by Racing head coach Juan Pablo Vojvoda, who previously worked with the forward during his time at Santos. For Cruzeiro, who have the player under contract until June 2028, this loan provides a vital opportunity to offload the striker and potentially secure a permanent sale in the future.
