21-year-old midfielder Nicolas Paz will continue his career at Italian side Como. According to Fabrizio Romano, the clubs have reached an agreement for a permanent transfer, with the player expressing his strong desire to remain at the Italian club.
Despite earlier plans from Real Madrid to bring the player back by activating an option for 9 million euros, both sides managed to reach a compromise. Crucially, the Spanish club has retained a buy-back clause for the future.
Unofficial reports indicate that Como paid 60 million euros to secure the Argentine on a permanent deal. Paz proved to be a vital asset during the 2025/26 season, contributing 12 goals and seven assists in 35 league appearances.
